EU Mobility Package
The European Union (EU) has introduced a package of measures aimed at enhancing road safety, improving working conditions, and ensuring fair competition and equal access to European markets. This package, known as the Mobility Package, consists of a series of regulations impacting the transport industry. As part of this legislation, trucks involved in international transport and equipped with a 1C (Smart 1) tachograph had to be upgraded to a Smart 2 tachograph by August 19, 2025.
